Graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Dora is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist in New York. She is a licensed provider of The Therapeutic Listening Program and Handwriting Without Tears, and is certified in the use of interactive metronome. Additionally, she is trained in the use of programs such as ‘How Does Your Engine Run’, and The Wilbarger Brushing Protocol. While working in the field of Occupational Therapy for almost 6 years, Dora has helped children in various settings, including private and public schools, and has experience with all age levels from pre-K through high school. She treats a variety of developmental disorders such as motor apraxia, Sensory Integration Disorder (SID), visual and auditory processing delays, ADD/ADHD, and autism and has demonstrated specialized skills with assessment and treatment of preschool age children. She also lectures on the topic of sensory integration, Handwriting Without Tears, and Therapeutic Listening.
